Feeling very sick, Nevaeh was relieved when Theen fell asleep, he had had a very rough night. Walking out of the tent, Nevaeh walked into Theen’s tent and found the bag of things that Locien had given to her and Alyan before they had left, desperately searching for something to take away the taste of blood flesh. Grabbing a handful of purple leaved herbs Nevaeh found a small vial in the bag and pushed them in. Filling the rest of the vial with water from a bowl she placed a hand over the top and shook it until the colour from the leaves had seeped into the water. Drinking the sweet liquid Nevaeh took a deep breath, happy that she had helped Theanos, she had a feeling she wouldn’t argue with him for while. She didn’t immediately go back to where Theanos was sleeping, instead Nevaeh wanted to find Mihewi, to thank her. Nevaeh didn’t search for her either, she was tired and feeling ill, meat was such a foreign thing. Dragging herself back to Theanos she lay down on the floor and closed her eyes, her head full of thought.

Theanos woke up in the early hours of the morning. He sat up with a slight struggle, looking down at Nevaeh. He paused for a moment, before swinging his legs over onto the floor. He took a deep intake of breath before pulling himself up. His ribs ached, looking down at them he saw that his whole side was a terrible shade of almost-black. He grimaced, grabbing tightly onto the table he was just laid to help him move out of the tent. He stumbled around outside, the sunrise blinding him slightly. Nobody was about, as expected. He liked it there, but couldn't help resenting their nocturnal attributes. He took a walk towards the wood.

Nevaeh didn’t wake up until much later in the morning, opening her eyes slowly she couldn’t help but notice the silence, it was odd waking up and not hearing the bustle of life; though she was feeling very ill from the meat the night before and appreciated a little silence. Clutching her stomach, Nevaeh sat up and shook her hair from her face. Stretching out and yawning, Nevaeh stood up to see that the table where Theanos had been sleeping the night before was empty, a little worried Nevaeh ventured outside of the tent and looked around for him. He wasn’t anywhere around the camp and not wanting to wake up Alyan or Mihewi Nevaeh ran into Theanos’ original tent and grabbed her bow just in case and went off towards the woods.

Theanos walked through the trees, his front ancle shooting pain up his leg. Everything was louder in his natural form. Men had commented on how he looked. His shoulders and haunches muscular, his body slender, but most of all his jet black fur. It was unlike anyone had ever seen before. No black wolves had been heard of in the history of Lycans. White wolves sure, the occasional albino was seen, but a pure black wolf? Never. He was truly horrifying to look at if you had never seen a wolf before, his pelt wonderfully coarse, standing on end when approached, his eyes a liquid amber and his fangs scarily white. He decided it was easier to walk when in natural form, even though he was limping due to his ancle which he assumed was broken. He heard a snapping noise behind him, something was coming, something small, light, food? He turned, trotting toward where it could be, growling at the direction it was coming from.

Nevaeh aimlessly wandered in the woods, occasionally straying from the path, she didn’t know where she was looking and if he had even left the village, for all he knew he was in somebody else’s tent. The very thought made her go green with envy but she couldn’t think of that, not after what had happened the night before; that was enough to put her off ever questioning him again. The path grew smaller as she took a different route; she hadn’t crossed this path before. Trees seemed to cradle the midday sun, creating dancing shadows across the floor and in turn, Nevaeh. Flicking the string of her bow as she walked Nevaeh soon heard a low sort of growl, her ears picked up, it certainly was an animal, she couldn’t figure out what it was. Walking very slowly in the direction of the sound it wasn’t long until she saw a low back figure not too far in front of her. She had never seen a wolf like it. It was an immediate reaction for her to wield her bow, aimed directly in-between the wolf’s eyes. Stepping away slowly she didn’t take her eyes off of it.

Theanos stared at her. He was hungry, but not that hungry. He cocked his head to the side, confused at her taking up a defensive position. 'Nevaeh?' he asked, walking toward her. She seemed startled at him speaking, he almost forgot he was in natural form. It would sound like a bark to her, a loud threatening bark. He advanced on her slowly, dragging his limp paw across the ground. Her bow was threatening, but he knew she would never fire it. He was bigger than her, stronger.

As the wolf barked, Nevaeh flinched and continued to edge backwards her hand wavering on the string of her bow. As it advanced on her Nevaeh quickened the pace a little, she didn’t want to shoot, but she would if she felt any more threatened. She didn’t look down to its paw she was too busy staring the thing down. Too afraid to run and too afraid to shoot in case she missed or only injured the thing Nevaeh did what she did best. Jumped. Getting herself onto a low branch, Nevaeh watched the wolf intently.

He hated it when she did that, always retreating to the trees. He quickened to the tree she was in, his front paws up on the tree. 'What the hell Nevaeh?' He shouted, sounding to anyone else like a violent and loud bark. His breath was loosing him, getting tired, his side aching and his ancle now screaming with pain. 'Get the hell out of the tree.' he growled. Suddenly he realised, looking up to the fear on her face, and down to himself, she'd never seen anyone byt Elayahi in natural form before, and that was hardly frightening. He reformed, collapsing onto the tree in agony. 'Nevaeh...' he breathed.

Nevaeh looked down to the wolf, remembering what Theanos said; that neither Lycan nor wolf could climb a single tree, she felt safe for a moment. Her heart was racing, her hand shaking a little. Nevaeh never liked to admit it but she had never kill another living being before, she was used to shooting targets and falling leaves, she had never had to shoot anyone or anything when he guarded. Watching the wolf reform, Nevaeh nearly fell out of the tree; she couldn’t quite believe what she had just seen. Dropping her bow on the floor, the arrow whistling off into the distance Nevaeh jumped down from the tree, stood before Theanos. “What were you doing?” Her breath was still heavy from the panic a moment ago. “Come on, you need to rest Theen, you will never heal at this rate!” Taking Theanos by the hand that hadn’t been crushed Nevaeh began to guide him through the forest. “What were you doing out here?”

Theanos collapsed onto her, Almost dragging himself along 'doing... I was...' he sighed, gasping for breath 'you wouldn't... understand...' he said, the willow bark must have completely worn off because his wrist was pulsing with blood, he couldn't feel his fingers, which was a worry. 'I can't feel my fingers...' his face was contorted with the pain, but there was nothing he could do about it. He wasn't a medic. Neither was anyone he knew. They were in the village now, he was screaming. Mihewi obviously hadnt noticed the wrist as he had been unconsious, but she definately wouldn't be able to ignore it now. He pushed Nevaeh away, stumbling into the chieftains tent. Mihewi was there, already stood. 'My wrist...'

He came out of the tent around mid-day, his arm was in a cast made from chalk, mud and wooden splints, it was supported around his chest with a suare peice of cloth tied around his neck. He grinned, turning to the woman 'Thankyou beautiful.' he winked at her, turning around to see Elayahi stood there, her arms crossed. 'What did you do?' Alyan came over laughing 'Found you! My turn!' the lycan girl looked at him, sighing 'Fine. I'll count to 1000. 1...2...3...4' Alyan ran off again. 'You like him? Seriously?'

Nevaeh stood back and looked the Lycan woman up and down, raising an eyebrow as Theanos was attended to. Mihewi was allot taller than Nevaeh, she couldn’t decide if she felt childish compared to her or if she felt more feminine. Brushing off her vanity, Nevaeh left the tent and returned into Theanos’ tent, sat on the dusty floor she closed her eyes. She thought of her mother and wondered how she was, how Locien, the twins and Haldir were. She could hear their voices ringing in her ears, almost smell them...

She awoke to the sound of her older brother laughing and running past the tent; rubbing her eyes roughly Nevaeh stood up and peered around the opening of the tent to see him running off the other way. Rolling her eyes she stood out and straightened her hair. Looking back down to the other tent where Theen had been resting she saw him with the oddest thing on his arm. Shrugging her shoulders, she walked off to find Alyan again; she wasn’t going to question anything the lycans did, it seemed to get her into trouble. Not seeing if he went out of the village or not, Nevaeh decided to look out in the forest, if not to find Alyan, at least to find something to eat.

Theen watched Nevaeh walk out of his tent and walk off after her woman of a brother, he then laughed as he watched Elayahi storm past muttering 'why the hell am i doing this again...' he allowed himself another moment to laugh before jogging lightly after them.

It was now dark, and Theanos was worrying, he had no idea where they were and he had been walking for a long time, finally he came across a stream, taking a drink from it, he looked up, a little further on, a body was lain half in the water. He got u immediately and ran towards it, his heart stopping as soon as he saw Nevaeh's cold, blue face. Scooping her up in his arms, it soon begcame apparent that she was still alive. He ran now, calling out. 'Elayahi! Alyan!' he was searching for them so frantically that he nearly missed them altogether, there laid just in the water, the same way that Nevaeh was, were the couple he was looking for. He laid Nevaeh next to them, wading through the water to get to them, kneeling down, he shook them, screaming their names. Theanos couldn't understand what was wrong with them. Suddenly he became dizzy, his breathing rapid. He propped himself up on his elboy, lying down in the cold stream, his eyes became heavy and blurred, the last thing he saw, was a air of feet walking towards them.

Theanos woke up eventually, his head was killing him, the strong smell of chemical's in the air, he was in the place he least wanted to be, with shackles around his wrists.

Nevaeh awoke bleary eyed, with a terrible taste in her mouth and a throbbing headache, looking around her she couldn’t see much. “Hmm?” She mumbled, last thing Nevaeh remembered was when she was drinking from a stream not too far from the Lycan village. Trying to stand, Nevaeh fell back “What?” Looking up, she could just make out there was a very low ceiling, very confused; her eyes became adjusted to the dim light. When she could see better Nevaeh found herself to be in a cage, like an animal, like the day she had met Theanos all that time ago. Looking to her side she saw Alyan too was in a cage but he had yet to wake up. Kneeling at the bars of the cage, Nevaeh looked out and saw Theanos shackled “Theanos?” She said quietly, her hands flat against the metal bars, she was sure she could hear footsteps.

Theen looked up to see Nevaeh in the cage, he ran over to her, but was pushed back by a volt of electricity pulsing through him, keeping him away from her. 'I can;t believe this... I cant BELIEVE THIS!' he shouted, slamming his fists against the cold stone wall. He was back in his bedroom at home, the door was locked, and they had put his friends in cages, quite obviously, to rub it it. 'Where's Elle...' he suddenly noticed the absence of his sister and began to panick. Running over to the door, he slammed his fists against it, kicking it and lashing out, screaming in anger 'Where the hell is she? You miserable git, i swear i'll kill you! What have you done with her!' He heard footsteps, the door was unlocked and he was faced with a sly smile. 'Geddyn, i swear, you've done anything to her...' He pushed his older brother out of the way and walked in the room 'dont worry princess, she's safe and sound... you however...' he tutted, shaking his head and circling. 'Look at you. Pitiful... and these... things...' he walked up to Nevaeh's cage and laughed at her reaction 'disgusting...' his hair was slicked back as his smooth voice insulted her. He spat in her face, sending Theanos over the top, he lunged at him, about to reform when the shackles sent thousands of volts of harnessed lightning through his body, he convuksed on the floor, yelping in pain as Geddyn laughed, crouching down to hover over him. 'Don't you ever learn...'

Kneeling back from the front of the cage as Geddyn spat on her, Nevaeh wiped the spit off her cheek in one abrupt motion. “Oh how noble of you, git.” Rolling her eyes, she wasn’t going to get violent and thrash about the cage, which would only confirm to sleazy Lycan that Elves were nothing more than savages. Looking over to Alyan, she wondered how much he had drank if both Theanos and herself had already awoken. As Theanos was sent to the floor convulsing, Nevaeh slammed her body up against the bars, trying to reach out for Theanos. “You bastard!” She shouted to Geddyn, tears already welling in her eyes, trying desperately to force them back she screamed at the slick man. “Stop that! Don’t you bloody hurt him!” Reaching for her arrows that should have been on her back she had a sinking feeling in her stomach, she felt vulnerable without her bow, it was only carved a few days ago. She needed it. Looking over to her brother, he had only started to move around a bit. “What do you want anyway!?!”

Theanos looked up to his brother, not able to move his body for the pain in his muscles. He was surprised to see Nevaeh so forward about him being hurt, he didn't think that she really cared. 'What do I want?' Geddyn laughed to himself 'I dont want anything, it is for the greater good if you are here Theanos, there will be no chance that you will disgrace this family like your scum of a brother did before you. Luckily... we dealt with him.' Theanos growled at him, the noise deep in his throat. Geddyn only laughed 'dont you dare speak of him. You dont know anything parvus pueri' the last words were said with pure venom. Geddyn laughed louder, kicking his brother full throttle in the ribs 'And what are you going to do about it... helpless... just as you will be when you watch your little... friends... die. They need to know their place Theo.' he said in his diminutive tone, walking around to the cages. 'They're savages, if we didn't contain them then the world would be corrupt, it wouldn't be habitable. Their deaths will be a sign to the rest of them...' He stared at Nevaeh as if studying a particularly rotten piece of fungi. 'You can't do that! They're Earthians, just like us!' Geddyn span around to face his brother, snarling, his white teeth mirroring the colour of his unusually pale skin 'They are NOTHING like us! They are dirt! Unworthy of breathing the same air as I. Disgusting filth. You would do well to learn that.' He left the room, leaving Theanos to push himself up with great pain. The wrist cuffs were fastened around his mud and clay cast, his wrist was aching, and now, so were his rubs, he feared, now even more damaged. 'I wont... let them do... it to you...' he vowed between laboured breath's toward the elven girl.

Nevaeh’s heart sank as Geddyn kicked Theanos “Bastard!” She had to calm herself down, she wasn’t prepared to give him ammunition to back his erratic theory that she was nothing more than a savage who could be used and disposed of anyway he saw fit. She looked away to her brother, she had to control herself; if there wasn’t iron between them, and then he would be sorry. Insulting her again, Nevaeh punched the iron bars and pushed back towards the back corner of the cage and pulled her knees up to her chest. As Geddyn left the room she looked up to Theanos. “He cant do that... can he?” Tears welled up in her eyes, her life had never seriously been threatened and here she felt hopeless.

Theanos pulled himself over to her cage, reaching his hands in reaching for hers. His heart cracked to see her cry. His eyes clouded with tears also, of pain and dispair. Nevaeh trembled in the cage, she thought back to being in the village and how she could pin this onto herself, if he hadn’t over reacted before then they could have all been together and perhaps even have moved on from the village and been away, clear of the oppressive rule of the Lycans. Sighing heavily she moved closer towards the bars of cage and grasped Theanos’ hands; their fingers intertwined. Kissing each of his fingers gently, tears from her eyes ran down them. “I...I don’t want to die Theanos...I need you...”

He grabbed her by the neck and dug his nails in, he yelped. Suddenly, The door burst open, and their mother walked in. 'Geddyn! Get the hell off of him you smarmy waste of space. I regret ever having you. Don;t you dare lay a finger on her again.' she growled, batting him out of the way and embracing her daughter, she hugged her back. 'Oh daughter, i've missed you... did you bring him back safely?' she pulled away 'its not what you think ma'ma. They're not savages, far from it, they're...' he slapped her hard, cold around the face. 'Don;t you dare speak to me that way child. I'll Kill him for how he has corrupted you. Still dizzy and half asleep, Nevaeh closed her eyes and rested her cheek against Theanos’ hand. Swearing she had only fallen asleep for a minute, Nevaeh awoke to the sound of footsteps and the door unlocking, looking over to her side, Alyan was now awake and looking around the room frantically, placing a finger to her tear-stained lips she slipped away from the bars as the door unlocked and to her surprise Geddyn hadn’t walked in, but a much taller woman, Nevaeh instantly knew who she was. Looking over to Alyan, he suggestively raised an eyebrow and whispered to his sister. “Who’s she.” Nevaeh didn’t reply, only looked up to the woman briefly before looking away as she moved onto Alyan who murmured “At-il mal quand tu es tombé du ciel? “ Nevaeh’s head snapped around to face Alyan. “Lle lakwenien!?!?” She hissed at him. Alyan looking over to her out of the corner of his eye replied. “Mankoi...Ron rangwa amin...?” Nevaeh shrugged and looked over to Theanos, he had been well educated but had not listened in his lessons, he wondered if his parents learnt the language...

Theanos pushed himself away from her cage when he heard the footsteps from down the coridoor. He knew it was his mother before he had even seen her walk through the door. She was light-footed, and glided everywhere she went. As she pushed open the door lightly, Alyan muttered something, gaining an irritated response from his younger sister. 'What did he do to you?' She closed the door behind her, standing by it and not going anywhere near him. She was always suspicious of him, not being anything like her other children, more reserved and contained, unless he got angry. 'You corrupted my daughter.' she said, stone faced, looking at him. Her peroxide blonde hair was in loose, yet harsh curls around her angular face. She looked like a slightly older version of her daughter, her skin the palest of white, her eyes a milky pink like her daughter's. 'I did not corrupt her.' Theanos managed to push out from his wounded lungs. 'It was you. Sheltering her her whole life. She's found something else, something better. And he's in that cage.' The woman turned, walking up to the cage. 'What is it saying.' se muttered, looking down at him in disgust. 'I have no idea. I did not listen in the hellish false classes you forced me through, all the while your son becoming a monstor with the overpowerment of your filthy husband. She slapped him hard across the face, dragging her nails across his skin, ripping through, blood seeping to the skin. He turned his head back to glare at her 'you could have stopped this.'

Watching the tall woman near float into the room with a grace that Nevaeh could only imagine a Lycan to have, she noticed the uncanny resemblance between her and Elayahi. Her odd appreciation of her pale features faded away as the woman leant down to her brother in disgust, only Nevaeh could do that to him. Kneeling up against the cage bars again as she slapped Theanos hard across the face, slamming the bar she screamed at the Lycan. “Vous ne lui faites mal!” As her nails dug into his skin, it was obvious that she didn’t understand her or care to even look up. Nevaeh knew some Lycan and decided to get her attention “pudor tu!!” She didn’t move from the front of the cage, taking a deep breath, Nevaeh near regretted insulting the most powerful woman in the kingdom, but she looked over to Theanos and was given some courage. “Leave him! If anyone has corrupted your bloody daughter, it was me!” Alyan looked over to her and shouted angrily “Mani naa lle umien!?!?” Nevaeh briefly looked over to him and waved her hand. Keeping eye contact with the Lycan woman.

Don’t you hurt him!
(Latin/ Lycan) F**k you!

Theanos slammed himself up against the bars 'Shut the hell up. What do you think gives you the right to speak to her.' He growled threateningly, adding a wink at the end of the sentance for thebenifit of Nevaeh, who might have thought he was serious. Andrais-Gloch, however, couldn't see the wink, and hesitantly walked over to her son. 'Theanos... my son...' he pulled a hand slowly from her waist to stroke his head, the most she'd ever touched him. 'You always have to give in to your primal instincts. There are people out there that would quite happily kill you.' she cliked her fingers and an elven nurse walked into the room, straight away starting to tend to Theanos' wounds. 'Your Father wants to speak with you later. I shall tell him that you've come to your senses.' She turned to leave, but Theen stopped her 'Wait!... when is the killing... I wan't to be well enough to watch, to... to join in...' His mother smiled, her lips curling back to show her tremendously white teeth. 'Whenever you are well, we shall get the court set.' She left. 'Master Theanos, we are so thankful to have you back master Theanos. We shall have you better again sooner than later. You must dress in your suit.' She pointed to an aold human tradition hanging on the back of the door. Theen nodded. 'Jusrt shut the hell up and work.' he growled.
Outrageous.

Nevaeh jumped up and away from the bars as Theanos, first shocked at his harsh words until she saw the gentle wink and decided to play along, regardless of her disappointment that the most powerful woman hadn’t even reacted to her. Figured. Now leaning against the Iron Bars Nevaeh closed her eyes and listened to the silence around her. Alyan looked over to his sister and gave her a quizzical look. “So how are we going to get out of here?” Nevaeh didn’t open her eyes, nor turn to face her older brother. “We aren’t...” He knelt close to her cage, gripping his iron bars “What do you mean?” Opening one eye she sighed “You weren’t awake were you? No I guess not...” Closing the eye she tapped the stone below her. “We are going to be executed.” Alyan, shocked, tried to stand up and hit his head hard. “What do you bloody mean!?!?” He exclaimed “I mean, you know, being killed, I haven’t been told yet...hanging? Beheaded; or if we are really lucky it could be a fight to the death then the last one standing could be run through...” Alyan slammed the bars “They can’t do that!” Nevaeh turned to him “Oh, but they can, we are going to see they can first hand....”
