Pirates ~ Alice in Wonderland & Cinderella's Girlfriend {PG13+}

Olivia watched Jack in total awe. His eyes, just the way he looked totally out of it after all her wondering after hearing all of the rumors, myths and legends; wether he told her or not, she knew it was now true. A whisper escaped her pale lips "captain..." she dropped her sword in the pale sun-scorched sand.

Jack looked at Olivia, she dropped her sword in the sand, it glittered, like his. He looked at her, her mouth moved. She was so, quiet. 'captain'. What was this emotion filling him, he didnt know, it was strange, it messed with his mind, he wanted to run, just to run. His feet started backing up slowly, his eyes filled with tears glistening like the sea, one rolled down his cheek and onto his pursed lips. His eyes were tormented, it felt like he was being ripped apart inside. He didnt know what was going on. Nothing had ever happened like this before, not before Olivia had turned up. Still backing up, he felt the sand getting wetter still, until the warm lap of water was at his heels. Feeling this, he turned and ran, kicking the water up after him, when he got deep enough, he dived, letting all of the air out of his lungs He swam, and looked up, to the glittering surface above. The fractured sunlight danced across his body and colourful fish dodged around his body. It would've been a wonder that they came near him at all. He wanted her, there was something that snapped in him. Where was she...

Olivia froze on the sun kissed sand as Jack ran for the water, she was amazed as well as confused. Her lips pursed she watched him finally dissapear under the water. First off she decided not to react, thinking this was like when he jumped off the boat but a strong feeling overwhelmed her as she took a step forward closer. finally her feet were submerged in the cool clear water; a small smile dusted her lips as she took another step deeper...

Jack swam amongst the corals. He spun toward the surface as the coloures exotic fish danced around his body, he watched the water bubbles escape from his lungs and make a break for the surface. He felt at home, at one, like everything was good, and alright. Suddenly the fish scattered, as something splashed clumsily though the shallows. Olivia. He then realised that there was no air left in his lungs, and that it was as if he were breathing in water. Of course that was impossible... wasnt it? The Captain's eyes were a brilliant turquoise-green, silver swirling, actually moving around his diolated pupils. Olivia seemed to be pausing in the water, as if she didnt want to come in. Jack's hair floated and glistening bubbles coated his skin as he swam deeper into the water, his expression inquisitive which turned to sheer delight when he lay eyes upon the brightest peice of mother of pearl he had seen in a long while, blue, like Olivia's eyes. He swam down and collected it off of the sand, before, with tremendous effort, kicked up to the surface, breaking through it like a siren spoken of by shipwrecked seadogs in taverns across the seven seas. He faced Olivia and casually swam toward her. When he reached her, he stood, running a hand through her hair before handing her the shell, with a huge grin of content on his face.

Olivia looked through the water intentively as she uneasly stepped into the calming water, part of her knew the shore was where she wanted to be, but Jack had a way of drawing her in when he wanted to the most. She stopped atfter tripping on her own foot, the glaring reflection of the sun against the gently rippling water made finding jack challenging. Going up onto the tips of her feet she covered her eyes with one hand, seeing if the shade from the sun helped her at all. As Jack bursted from the water she didn’t move, only watched him as he sawm up towards her, not sure wether to smile as he was so close she took the shell inher hand, lifting it up to the light; the colours lightly dancing across her. Looking inot jacks eyes, oh how they matched to water so perfectly…Holding the shell tightly she kissed him ever so lightly on the cheek before pulling away and standing infront of him as if time had stood still.

Nost sure of what to do she turned away from him and made her way back to the sure and onto the beach. Going back through to where Xavier was tied up she dressed back into the corstet and skirt, waiting for jack to appear. Not sure how much time had passed he finally arrived, looking at the floor not willing to even look Jack in the eyes she mounted Xavier in unison to him and was silent the whole way back to the inn.
It was nearly nightfall by the time they were back. It seemed the only thing to do was drink, it seemed only Olivia was making any sort of deal over what happened Jack was acting normally, well as normally as Jack could. Once in the pub she drank a little but was still worrying to distraction. She had let herself slip and was now payingthe price, What would jack think of her? Sh was meant to be his ‘personal shiphad’ and she acted like the regular floosy. Obviously over thinking she felt she had shamed both his mane aswell as her own. Coming out of her depressed stupour she looked up to shee that jack was getting drunk quickly, as usual girls were all over him showering him in praise. Saying that she needed air and would b back soon Olivia got up and headed for the door.

Turning right from the tavern she began to run, her heart beating faster with everystep she took. Running back to the inn she picked the lock to get into the room, grabbing all that he had bought her, the dresses, the leggings, the lot and left the Inn with them all in a small leather bag. Making her way to the docks she sought out the first ship that was off to leave the Island, managing to begg her way onto a ship on its way to the orient she looked back onto the Island for the last time. “ Sorry Jack, I coudlnt bear it anymore…” And within moments they had set sail to the East.

'Ship Captain! A ship!' The young crow yelled from high in his nest. Jack ran out on deck, all th way to starboard and leant dangerously over the edge peering at the sight. A ship not unlike his lay ahead. Of course Jack's ship was totally differant to his last, which was destroyed after the dense grief of the captain had drawn the sea into a vexed rage and had engulfed the ship and all its crew, well, apart from the captain. When Olivia had left, all those years ago, he had tried to find her, he had tried everything. He had found out somewhat the ship and crew that she left on. He killed them all when they didnt know where she went. He found the family she stayed with in the East, they knew where she had gone, but refused to tell him, so he threatened to kill the boy. The family soon gave in, but the boy went with Jack, working on his ship. He traced her to a pub in the east. When nobody knew of her, he killed them all. It had taken his the lenght of two years to find that amount of information, but the trail suddenly ended. He had to come to terms with it. He would never find her. He sank into a serious depression, crying and screaming as if in pain for weeks on end, and then his pain turned into rage, killing almost every member of the crew, and when his rage turned to grief, the sea drowned the rest.
His new ship was 'aqquired' off the coast of England, a king and his crew were taking a voyage. Mistake number one. The new ship was ornately carved and painted in gold and originally red, but now black. It was the most heart wrenching looking ship that had ever taken to the sea, even worse than the previous. When you saw the ship, death followed.

'Captain what should we do?' It looked like a pirate ship. Smaller than his own. 'Take it.' The whole deck was in uproar, another bloody battle. Brilliant.
Boarding the ship, it was totally fantastic, the sound of screaming filled the air, Jack thrived on it. He held back. Watching the murder for a while. That was until he saw the name. Rumers of a feirce Pirate had scouraged the dark world now for a while. A new pirate, scarecely recognised by any. Some dared him to be more bloodthirsty than captain Farrel himself. Of course Jack had dealt with those people quickly. The Jacks Heart was the name of his ship. His Heart filled with hatres at the seeing of that name. How dare they use his name, on that ship. Jack came out of his hiding place, to stand in full view of the carnage. Everything paused, as if the other crew realised whom he was. Jack Screamed in Rage 'Let the Bloodbath Stop, Until i see your Captain. Let me lay my sword upon his eye and we shall see whom be the pirate of these ships. Let me see your Captain!'

Olivia was stood at her large window that looked out north; they were sailing back to the west after transporting ‘goods’ to a port off the way from Korea. The ship Jack’s Heart was well known for its robbery and got a reputation fast. The ship was also known for its kidnapping and slave trafficking in the south. It had been five years since she had seen Jack’s face, she often thought of him fondly but with fondness came a flare of bitterness how she thought he didn’t share her craving of him. For the first few years she laid low in disguise, she knew jack’s reputation and didn’t want to chance being caught. She was certain he would catch her. Going from ship to ship, constantly changing her name and concealing her identity kept her safe for the first few years; though her run didn’t come without a few close calls. Seeing a ship coming up ahead she drank complacently from a small whisky glass. A small ship hand came in “ Don’t board, not worth the trouble” She muttered before waving him off. The ship wasn’t far off hers except hers were the colours of the Brazilian ships. Turning away from the window she sat a desk with a large and elaborate map lying on top, planning her route she didn’t expect the shrieks and cries of her deck hands. Throwing on her hat and coat Olivia walked to the door of her cabin sword in hand. Ready for the door to be opened.

As a rather terrified ship hand or galley girl opened the door she bowed expecting the crowd of pirates. Muffled she spoke, trying to conceal her voice “How nice of you to join us.” Looking up at the invader she froze for a moment Jack!?!?!? Unsure of whether to fight she was taken off guard as he lunged towards her. Deflecting his sword she had no choice but to retaliate

Jack's heart paused for only a moment. She was alive? She was the one trying to take over his place? She... was the captain? All the sudden rage of his grief flooded back to him. How could she do this to him? He lunged at her, slicing her arm, but she was fast now. He expected as much. The fight began.

She was fast, but not as swift as him, he wrote the laws of sword fighting, he wanted to kill her, to see her blood stain the dark wood as only a murder could do. She lunged at him, catching him off gaurd, cutting his ankle. SHe paused and looked up at him, as if shocked at what she had done. He Barked at her, making her jump 'HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME. YOU BITCH.'
They had been fighting for a while, landing shots at eachother, no-one had lasted that long against Jack before. No-one. She was good. Well taught, but she was beggining to tire. Sje could never have enough stamina as Jack. No living human could. She looked differant. Blood was seeping from a gash in her cheek, down her defined chin. She had grown more beautiful in age. Suddenly, she made an odd move, confusing the captain slightly, which let room for her to slice her sword straight through his upper arm. He screamed in pain, grasping his arm. Her sword. The one He had made for her. Blood stained his shirt. His head was bowed. 'Do you surrender Farrel?' Her voice was harsh, like only that of a true sea goer. A smile then came upon his lips, his teeth flashing in the light. Then a laugh. A terrible, laugh, like that from the pits of hell. Jack's people around them cowered. They knew only too well that laugh. Without an ounce of hesitation, Jack, plunged his sword into Olivia's side. Sending her forward, screaming. He caught her, dropping to the floor with her. Defeated. Dying. The pirates in shock. Her breathing was deep, laboured. He held her close against his chest, rocking backward and forward. whispering in her ear as she cried out in pain. 'Shhhh shhh, my love. Why didnt you come, why didnt you find me. Why did you leave, why...' Jack's voice broke as tears rolled down his hard face. 'Olivia.' Jack, scooped her up into his arms. Standing he spoke to all the men. 'I have your Captian, I have defeated her. Those who wish to die may stay on board, the rest will join me with your women.' All the men boarded his ship. He didnt really care. All he cared about was Olivia. He flew, carrying her, to his quarters, frantically sweeping the desk and laying her on it. Surely everyone, seeing his plunging sword action would think she would die. But only he would know that she wouldnt. It was enough to wound her, make her loose enough blood to pass out. But he drew his sword in exactly the right place to miss any organs or vital bones.

Jack ripped off her clothes, not worrying about modesty. Of course she could bleed to death. He ran his hands over the gushing wound. And then, extraordinarily placed his lips upon it. HIs kiss, sealed the wound temporarily, He bandaged her and took her to his room where he laid her on his bed and waited for her to wake.

In five years she had used the skills he had taught her that day on the beach, she had perfected her own styles and techniques but she straight away saw that it was still not to the standard of Jack, she assumed no one would ever be, even as she fought for her life; with deathly agrresion in her eys she could look back to that day by the water, eveything was going so well until she had kissed him. Something snapped inside her then. She could no longer look at him the way she did back then with admiration and love, now she felt nothing. It was as if he let her just walk into the world alone.

But this was not the time to reminisce, no with every thought she made was giving Jack an advantage, she had to get back into her fierce frame of mind or she was going to be beaten quickly. Her reputation was ever growing, if word got out that she fought Jack himself, her ship and her reputation would skyrocket without her knowing. Looking up to Jack and staring him in the eye she jumped back then lunged to his arm, slicing through his flesh as if it were butter through a hot knife. A small smile came to her lips as he cried in pain. Over the years as her bitterness grew she longed to hear that cry, but what came after it stood the hairs on the back of her neck. Even his own crew cowered. Before she could ask again she felt his sword.

Crying out she felt straight into him, her breaths heavy as if she was still gasping for air, blood in her mouth trickled past her quivering lips, her eyes shut she felt the throbbing of the wound, Jacks grasp comforted her as tears streamed down her face though she managed to conceal them from her own crew. Looking down at the wound she felt cold. Being swooped up she almost writhed to get out of his grasp but she was too weak and a small part of her wanted jack to never let go.

As she lay on the table Jack ripped open her shirt revealing the small black heart tattooed below her left breast with an intricate J below that.

Olivia was in and out of consciousness for a few hours but woke up on Jacks bed. Looking to her side she saw jack clasping her hand, tearstained. Not sure what to say she just watched him.

It had been about a week since Olivia had slipped into unconsiousness. He hadn't eaten for a week. Hadn't drank, he hadn't even left her side. He was wearing a white cotton shirt and black shorts. Atleast he had found time to change. The ship was anchored, and as far as he knew everybody was still working. The ship was stationary, like his mind. A hard expression never left his face as he watched her. He looked from her face, to her hands, her torso bandaged tightly. His head rested on his hands. So differant to his hands, hers were. Small, delecate. Breakable. 'What have i done.' Seeing her fragile body laying in his bed was enough to almost break him. His eyes streamed with tears, but he made no sound. Instead he got up, and laid down with her. His head on her chest. Listening to her laboured breathing, her faint heartbeat. His tears rolled down his face and soaked her bandages. Perhaps the blood loss was too much for her body to take. She couldnt take in food, maybe she was starving. He was seeing her dying, infront of his eyes. And he had done it to her. The only girl that he'd...

He eventually got off the bed, he sat down again, in the chair, and gripped her hand, tightly. Too tightly. He didnt want to let go. At some point he must have put his head on the covers and drifted off. He couldnt remember it, falling asleep that it. But he dreampt. Colours, blue, green, black. Dark colours. He cried in his dreams, he could feel the tears cold on his face. He didnt want to wake up. He didnt want to wake up, not anymore. He believed that he'd killed Olivia. why would he want to wake up?

Her eyes must of not have opened properly, she didn’t want to say a word, she watched him through the small crack she had made in her eyelids. She felt his pain; it broke her heart to watch him suffer, though that was how she felt all those years away from him, even as he slept the tears still ran, she just lay on his bead, watching him.
Her eyes now open she squeezed his hand. Her side still burnt and throbbed, but she was alive and awake. All those feeling came flooding back to her if only for a second.
“ Jack…”

Something was calling him, back from his dream. It was faint. A voice, a familiar voice that he hadnt heard in so lonf. Distant, So distant. Olivia. His body whispered, but in his head he was screaming out. Olivia, where are you? where have you gone, come back, dont leave where are you. His body shook, as he cried out, gripping the hand even more. He heard her voice again, taunting him in his dreams, as it did every night. This time it felt more real. She was calling, calling for him to wake. But he didnt want to, what if it was another dream, if he woke to find her not there again, and to cry in the night, alone again, without her. His eyes snapped open. Her face, it was her, she looked real, like in his dreams, but completely differant. She was older, slightly. Silence cut through the air, His breathing was loud, as was hers, He leant closer, just looking at her. It was dark, but a small candle illuminated their faces. He picked his free hand off the bed. He hesitated. His face filled with emotion, as much that he had ever expressed over the past six years, since before he met her. Confusion, astonishment, surprise, disbelief. His hand was cold, he reached up, and touched her. She was warm, real, alive. He breathed, in shock. It was her. 'Olivia.'

Looking up at Jack she gave him a small smile, as to say, I’m here and I’m staying. Suddenly, her expression changed to that of disapproval, without even knowing herself she clipped Jack across the head. Olivia was back. “How dare you!” She shouted getting to her feet with some difficulty, “ Stabbing me like that, in front of my crew.” “ And scaring me like that! I thought you had died right bloody next to me…”From that split second where everything felt as if it was alright she was the Olivia that Jack never knew, the cold, strict and collected. Walking to the door of the cabin she pulled the sides of her top to keep some modesty and shouted to whoever was on deck “Get my crew here NOW!” Walking out she gave her cold stare to anyone who wasn’t from her ship “ I want to set sail by sunrise.”

Jack was bemused. Utterly bemused. He strode over to the doorway, grabbing his hat on the way. 'Excuse me gentlemen, the little lady feel's she's in charge, let me just get her under control for a momemt or two. Back to work.' Every single man turned back to what he was doing as Jack placed a strong hand over Olivia's mouth and dragged her back into his quarters, flinging her on the floor and locking the door behind him with the key around his neck. He turned to her. Man did she look furious. 'For the first thing you are on my ship, therefore you will command under my rules. Secondly if you try anything like that again i will have your ship burnt along with your crew do you understand.' His voice was so commanding, harsh, it'd take a strong person to disobay that and live. It was easy for him to do that, to speak, with no feeling but anger and malice. He looked at her face. At her wounded body. How could he have done that to her. His face blank, he suddenly, without warning dropped to his knees. She didnt want to be there, like she didnt want to be there with him all those years ago. She despised him, like she always did. Why didnt she ever like him, just once. He held his head in his hands, gripping hi hair through his fingers. Then, he pulled off the thread and the key around his neck, and threw it to her. 'If you want to leave. go.' His voice was broken. 'Just go Olivia.'

Olivia didn’t expect to be dragged back with such force; a little shocked she glared up at Jack with fires of a scorned woman in her once pale blue eyes. Standing once again she battled back, he may have a better sword her hand, but Olivia had a silver tipped tongue. “ Well I didn’t see me asking to return to your decks hmm?” she continued “ You may have saved my life, granted but keeping me and an extra crew captive on your ship shouldn’t be necessary”. For a moment she said nothing only staring him down, as she saw something break inside him something broke inside her. She had belittled the most feared man on the seas and she could only bat an eyelash to it. Catching the key she said nothing and walked out. Out onto the deck she didn’t care for her modesty, they had all seen a woman’s body before. “ If you belong to my name get back to the boat we set sail NOW!” Walking back over to her boat and into the cabin she changed. Whilst looking in the mirror she couldn’t help but feel some regret, she had left him five years without his ship hand, the honourable side of her said she should serve those five years out but the other said she should care.

After a few moments she didn’t know what had come over her but she was walking back over to the captain’s ship Dressed in leggings not dissimilar to those she had with jack; clinging to her now womanly curves, a burgundy corset she had made in China over crystal white shirt ( a great contrasts to her now sun kissed skin), nimble deck boots and a long black coat. Walking back to the cabin she didn’t knock and walked straight in Jack wasn’t there.

Writing a not on his desk it read;

Jack, I owe you five years of ship hand service, the honourable woman I am I shall serve the five years and then return to my crew who will no doubt have moved on by then. I will be waiting in the back of the galley.

Then without hesitation Olivia waiting down there in silence , blanking those below deck.

Jack watched her, write the note. she obviously didnt see him. He picked it up after, and read it. He followed her down. He waited for her to sit to show his face. He stood before her. HIs face was strong, masking the pain, badly. He looked into her eyes, it seemed like for an hour, but only for seconds. Then he turned, and left. Literrally pushing men down to get back to his chambers. When there, he opened the window, and jumped out. Into the sea, he was at home.

Olivia sat around and waited for Jack, tapping her well-groomed fingernail against a wooden panel, as he showed up she stood and watched him, as he stared into her eyes she stared right back; not giving out any feeling of emotion, she couldn’t, not yet. As he walked away she followed him, swerving angry men. As they entered his cabin she thought all was well or at least until he opened the window, watching him she didn’t expect him to jump but as he did she shouted after him “ JACKK! And dived in straight after him, the water was much colder at night. “ Damn it, jack where are you!!” she shouted before diving under the water.

Jack heard her voice, and he felt her breaking through the water, he was submurged, deeply submurged. The water was almost black, he could see the moon shining on the surface. He needed to be at home, amongst the water, in the sea. There was no emotion in her eyes when he looked into them. No emotion. He could have killed her. He could have killed her when he had the chance, why did he save her? She didn't like him, or love him, she never had. The cold was seeping through his clothes, he wasnt concentrating on the water, so it was starting to have an effect, but only slightly. To another human the water would be freezing. He knew where she was. She came after him in the water. Jack swam to the surface quickly and spotted her almost immediately. She still could'nt swim very well. The water didn't like her being there. It wanted to swallow her, to drown her for all the angast it had caused the Captain. She would be cold. Almost freezing up, so she coudnt move. Her heart would stop, she would drown from the shock. Jack swam over to her. 'You stupid girl! Isnt it enough to almost die once?' he bellowed, over the sound of the sea. He grabbed her, like a rag-doll around her waist, and swam to the ladder. Flinging her over his shoulders, he climbed up. She did look cold. Why didn't he leave her there? In the sea. Thats what it wanted, why didnt he do it? The deck was quiet, Jack carried her back to his room. Slamming the door behind him. She was soaked, as was he, but it didnt bother him. 'Hyopthermia, probably bloody slowed heart rate aswell. You could have died right there and then!' He started taking off his clothes and throwing them on the floor. He didnt really fancy taking his underwear off. Then he moved over to her, and grabbed her, ripping off her clothes aswell. 'Oh shut up will you! Just shut up! I know what i'm doing.' he shouted, shaking her by the shoulders. Candles illuminated the room, and the moonlight streamed through the window. the flickering lights danced on his body. All her clothes were on the floor, he picked her up, blanking out all noise and shut the window. He then walked into his room, not saying a word and threw her on the bed. He shut the door and got under the covers with her, grabbing her and holding her still. He bent his head toward her ear. 'My body heat will raise your temperature, stop you from dying. Getting the wet clothes off will stop you from getting chills, and dying. Now be quiet, and get warm.' he growled. His strong arms were wrapped around her small body tightly. He did know what he was doing. He was saving her, again, someone who didn't deserve his compassion. For all he knew, she was plotting his death. He just wished she would shut up. He closed his eyes, but didnt release his grip, her wet body was cold against his. He was relitively warm. His sheets would be sodden, he didnt care much, as long as she, was alright.

Pushing back up from the water, she felt the chill of the night air, her clothing weighing her down, as the chill set in she looked around for Jack frantically, she didn’t know what he hand weighed himself to the bottom of the water and planned of suicide but any more of this ungodly temperature was going to take its toll on Olivia, first her arms, then her legs. She began to freeze up she was used to the warm waters of the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean. Seeing Jack burst up from the water relief filled her frozen veins. As he swam to her Olivia felt the same way she did when she was seventeen, foolish for going after him but this time she felt as if there was merit for doing so. As he grabbed her by the waist she wanted to fight but the cold water kept her still. Once back into his cabin she pushed away, still absolutely freezing Olivia fought back “Well why didn’t you just leave me to the water?!?” Crossing her arms across her body trying anything to warm up “You wanted to kill me before why not just leave me to die? It wouldn’t have been your fault!” As Jack walked over to her Olivia planted her feet but it seemed he didn’t want to move her “What!?! Get off of m-“As he bellowed Olivia quietened but being thrown onto the bed shocked her in to staying deadly still. As he wrapped his arms around her she realised how cold she was, he was as warm as candles that so delicately lit the room. She closed her eyes and kept close to him; trying to convince herself that she was only trying to keep warm and stay alive.

Jack woke in the morning to the soft labouring of Olivia's lungs against his chest. Her temperature was up, she was fine. The captain smiled and lay a hand on her head. How she had managed to turn to face him in the night was beyond him. She looked so differant, yet the same. He could have, indeed just let her drown. But he would have a group of unhappy pirates on his hands if he did, that was the reason he justified his actions. He gently unwrapped her arms from around him and left the bed. Grabbing a hat and a head scarf, he adressed his crew 'set sail, North West. I want to go to europe, or Japan. They have goods in Japan, and woman in Europe!' The men jeered, jack grinned and went back into his cabin, he took off his hat and scarf, and put on a thin linnen shirt, crawling back into bed and wrapping her arm around him again, he watced her sleep, waiting for her to wake.

Waking up she at first didn’t look up to Jack’s face, she looked at her arms, how had she turned to face Jack him in the night and why was she practically clinging to him? The sun dances across her body softly as she looked up to Jack. She didn’t say anything to him, only watched him as he watched her. The seconds felt like hours. Breaking his gaze she stood from the bed and dressed. Sitting on a small wooden stool she finally broke the silence “ Thank you, for last night.”

'You still swim badly.' Jack was grinning boyishly. His face was flushed and he looked down, his dark eyelashes covering his eyes. He began to giggle, not laugh but giggle in his deep voice, he was giggling at his own ironic joke. His giggles were stifled by his shirt as he pulled it off and threw it on the floor. The cirtains were open, he never closed them. He pulled the sheets off of him and lay on his bed, eyes closed, hands behind his head, with a grin playing on his lips.
